International Workers' Day Celebrated Today At Labor College

Labor leaders, union members and activists will celebrate International
Workers Day at the National Labor College today and tomorrow. The event
features “fun, free food, games, face painting and more,” says the Maryland
State and District of Columbia AFL-CIO, which is organizing the festivities.
“Bring your family, friends and children,” they urge. “Tour the National
Labor College, enjoy some hors d’oeuvres, beverages, beer and wine, see some
cultural and educational exhibits and get updates on movements of Egyptian,
Colombian and Central American Workers.” Click
