Activists To Rally For Progressive Taxes At DC Council Today

With the DC City Council set to decide how to close the city’s
$188 million budget gap today, community activists – led by DC Jobs with
Justice, Empower DC and Save Our Safety Net – will rally on the steps of the
Wilson Building at 9A to “demand that the City Council make the better choice:
invest in priorities that put DC to work!” reports DC JwJ’s Ruth
