AFL-CIO Balcony Fundraiser To Go Ahead "Rain Or Shine"

“As promised, we have rescheduled the Employee Free Choice Act balcony fundraiser,” says the AFL-CIO’s Scott Reynolds. The new date is Wednesday, September 2 at 6P. “This will be a great way to kick off our Labor Day activities and celebration; rain or shine!” adds Reynolds. The event - which will raise money for the Turn Around America Fund to keep ads running that spread the word about the Employee Free Choice Act - will feature music and a view of the White House from the 8th floor of the AFL-CIO, while helping ramp up labor’s push to pass the Employee Free Choice Act.
