'09 Council Meetings Set

January’s Metro Washington Council delegate meeting will be Monday, January 26; stay tuned for the location. Help get 2009 off to a great union start and get all the latest local labor news! Although we cannot confirm or deny rumors about possible attendance by a certain new neighbor of the Council’s, we can guarantee that pushing for passage of the Employee Free Choice Act this year will be on the night’s agenda. Also, please mark your calendar for this year’s Council meetings, all at 6:30P at the AFL-CIO: February 23, March 16, April 20, May 18, June 15, September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21.
