Metro Council Golf Tourney Registration Opens

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Registration has opened for this year’s Metro Washington Council/Community Services Agency Golf Tournament, scheduled for September 22. The tournament is a fundraiser for CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund. “Every dollar is so needed these days,” says CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy, “We have many people who can't even provide food for themselves so the support is definitely appreciated.” The 19th annual tournament will be held at the union Enterprise Golf Course followed by a banquet at the historic Newton White Mansion. Sponsorships run from $1,000 to $2,500 and include program book ads, tee or green signs, banquet tickets and, for $1,700 or more, a foursome and cart. There’s also a $500 Foursome Package and individual golfers are $175. Tee or green sponsorships are $300 and program book ads are $125 or $250.
