Walmart Doc Kickstarter Deadline Wednesday

It’s literally down to the wire for the Kickstarter campaign to fund “Can’t Take It No More,” an independent documentary by local filmmakers about workers across Walmart's global empire who are standing up for respect, fair pay and economic justice (Help 'Kickstart' Walmart Workers' Documentary 5/27 UC). As of presstime, $44,806 had been pledged towards the $50,000 goal, which must be reached by 11:55 PM EDT on Wednesday, June 18 to be funded. “We are in the HOMESTRETCH!” said filmmaker Michael Blain. “Thank you to everyone who has been sharing and supporting us!”
