AFL-CIO Seeks Volunteers for DC-Area Naturalization Workshop

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The AFL-CIO is working with local community organizations and worker centers to offer a naturalization workshop – help green card holders apply for citizenship – on Saturday, June 28 in DC. “We are looking for local unions and members who are interested in volunteering at this event, as well as finding union members who may be eligible to naturalize and might benefit from this service,” says Kelly Marie Fay Rodríguez, Assistant to AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Tefere Gebre.
