DCNA Plans Informational Picket at Howard Thursday

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The District of Columbia Nurses Association (DCNA), will stage an informational picket  at Howard University Hospital on Thursday at 11:30a. DCNA is concerned that Howard's failure to follow negotiated procedures after deciding to lay off registered nurses "will result in unnecessary chaos within the hospital and will compromise the quality of care to patients" and urges allies and activists to join them on the line.
