Early Voting Begins in DC

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Early voting has begun in the District of Columbia. DC voters can vote in person at One Judiciary Sq., 441 4th St. NW through this Saturday, March 29, from 8:30a-7p daily, and at all 13 Early Voting Centers March 22-29 (Closed Sundays). Click here for Early Voting Center Information. The Metro Council has made the following endorsements in DC City Council primary races: Jim Graham (Ward 1), Kenyan McDuffie (Ward 5), Darrel Thompson (Ward 6) and Phil Mendelson (Chair). The Council also endorsed Paul Strauss for DC Shadow Senator, and for DC Democratic State Committee: Fred Allen, Dyana Forester, Vicky Leonard, Jasmine Harris, Gregory Cendana and Steve Lanning.
