Prince George's County School Custodians' Efforts Recognized(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Custodians of the Prince George’s County Public School System were recognized during the January 23 Board of Education meeting for the services that they provide “in making our schools clean and safe havens for the students and staff of Prince George’s County,” reports SEIU 400 PG’s Cynthia Collins. Ms. Collins, Local 400 PG Political Director, accepted a plaque honoring the Local 400 members, signed by Superintendent Dr. Kevin M. Maxwell and Board of Education Chairman Dr. Segun C. Eubanks. The plaque is now prominently displayed on the front wall of Local 400’s office in Hyattsville.
