Labor Endorsement Update

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)

UFCW Locals 400, 1994 & 27 have endorsed Anthony Brown for Maryland Governor. Brown had previous been endorsed by the Maryland State and DC AFL-CIO. Unite Here Local 25 earlier this week endorsed Vincent Gray for a second term as DC mayor. The Metro Washington Council AFL-CIO has not yet endorsed in the DC mayoral election and has requested that affiliates refrain from endorsing until the interview and endorsement process is concluded.
