Local Labor Communicators Meet Friday

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Local labor communicators should plan to be at Friday’s meeting of the Local Labor Communicators group, “which is dedicated to ensuring that we have the latest and most effective communications tools, tips and techniques,” says Metro Washington Council Union Cities Coordinator Chris Garlock. The brief agenda for the January 10 meeting at 9:15a includes discussing the first annual Local Labor Communications Awards, the upcoming ILCA reception and the Labor-Media Breakfast idea. “Plus it’s a great group of folks!” Garlock adds.
