Metro Access Workers Reach Tentative Agreement with Veolia

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)After nearly six months of negotiations, ATU Local 1764 has reached a tentative agreement with Veolia Transportation that covers approximately 450 drivers, dispatchers and maintenance personnel working out of the Capitol Heights garage, the largest Metro Access facility. The deal, which is being recommended by the negotiating committee, will be reviewed and voted on by local 1764 membership this weekend. Negotiations with MV Transportation continue.
