Rain Does Not Deter MD State and University Workers

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Despite the cold downpour that drenched the region, more than 300 state and university workers from across the State of Maryland turned out in Annapolis Monday night to tell legislators “Respect Our Service!” AFSCME 3 members won a 3% raise in bargaining for 2014, but the raise can't go into effect without state legislators' support.
