Labor FilmFest kicks off with two free noontime screenings this Thursday and
Friday at the AFL-CIO. We’ll raffle off FilmFest t-shirts and free FilmFest
passes; bring your lunch!

Centennial)
The amazing story behind Woody Guthrie’s
American folk classics like Roll On Columbia, Jackhammer Blues, Pastures of
Plenty, and Grand Coulee Dam.

Free Screening: "We Are Wisconsin"
Inspiring documentary follows
the dramatic day-to-day development of the 2011 uprising against Wisconsin
Governor Scott Walker’s attack on collective bargaining. Co-presented by
AFSCME and introduced by Paul Booth, Executive Assistant to AFSCME President Lee
Saunders. Booth led the establishment of the "Labor Unity Table", the labor
movement's coordinated campaign defending workers’ rights against attacks in
state legislatures. He also served as an advisor on "We Are
Wisconsin."
