Washington Teachers Debut New Website

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The Washington Teachers Union – with more than 5,000 active and retired teachers in DC – is staying ahead of the curve. They recently debuted a brand-new website, featuring photos and videos from events, ways to get involved, and even a blog called “The Teachers Lounge.” Staying active all over the net, WTU has links on the new site to their Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr accounts. “I like the new website and front page is cool,” wrote one member. “Exciting to know we have these new capabilities.
