(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)A broad coalition of progressive activists will be out in force today at “Occupy CPAC,” a two-part action at the ongoing Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). “This is where conservatives plot annually to steal even more from the 99%,” says Metro Council President Jos Williams. “It’s a golden opportunity to expose their greed and selfishness as millions of working Americans struggle to hold onto their jobs, homes and futures.” Plans for the noon and 5p demonstrations include a giant corporate fat cat, tents, street theater, and a gold-plated toilet that’s been following union-busting Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker around the country.
